We suggest before filling out your application, have ready two pictures (one of yourself with family, and one of your backyard) that are under 2 MB each. Additionally, if you intend to submit a video, have it uploaded to YouTube in advance. Handy how to's for just in case:

Application, pictures and optional video must be sent at the same time. All fields are required with the exception of the video URL. The video is optional.

You are ready to upload your images now. Please submit a picture of yourself, your family and your backyard. For general guidelines, a 4 x 6 image taken with a digital camera will produce an acceptable image for this application. You must send photos with your application.

  • 2 images total (1 each of yourself & your family, and your backyard)
  • File types allowed are gif, jpg, jpeg, tif, bmp, pdf, and png
  • Max file size of 2MB per image

You will need a YouTube account to upload a video so you will need that first. Go to YouTube and click create an account if you don’t have one already.

Once you edit your video, make sure it’s smaller than 2GB in size, in an acceptable file format, and less than 15 minutes.

If all of these things are in order, you are now ready to upload!

To upload your video:

  1. Click the Upload link at the top of any YouTube page.
  2. Click the Upload video button to browse for the video file you’d like to upload to our site. Select the file you want to upload and click Open.
  3. As the video file is uploading, enter as much information about your video as possible in the relevant fields (including Title, Description, Tags, and Category). You’re not required to provide specific information, but the more information you include, the easier it is for users to find your video!
  4. Click the Save changes button to save the updates you’ve made to the video file.

Once your all finished copy the URL link for the video and place it in the form Video URL.
