Our goal is to make a dramatic transformation and give you the curb appeal you've always wanted. This means a wide variety of work might be done: from creating new planting beds to adding trees, shrubs and flowers. Plus we’ll tackle home improvement projects like repairing walkways or building new ones, installing lighting, touching up exterior paint or installing a new door. It’s important to remember every project is different and the scope of work done at your home is at the discretion of the producers based on what will work best for you and the program.

Yes! This is an important part of our show. 2 or 3 of your neighbors will be needed to talk briefly about how they love you but hate your landscape. We want this to be fun and playful but not mean spirited. It’s important to include in your application the neighbors who will enjoy teasing you about your lack of landscaping skills. And on the day we transform your home, we’ll bring the neighbors around to look at the results (they'll be envious!)

No! We provide everything. After being selected, you’ll meet with our landscape designer and production team. They'll come up with a plan and get your approval. Our producers may request you supply some helpers such as family and friends to help speed the project up.

You will be needed for two shoots. The first one takes a few hours and is when we get the "before" shots and interview you about the landscape problems. We will also interview some of your neighbors. A few weeks later is the big day when we transform your landscape. All the work is done in about 10 hours. You will be needed all day for the production.

You'll be having fun, learning and working alongside our DIY experts. Together, you'll do a variety of different projects throughout the day. The most important thing is for you to be energetic and excited and ask lots of good questions! You'll be informed several months before your episode airs.
